Analisa Box Ship Hours (BSH) terhadap Produktivitas Bongkar Muat Petikemas PT. Berlian Jasa Terminal Indonesia Surabaya

Abstract

This article analyzes Box Ship Hours (BSH) as one of the indicators that can show container loading and unloading productivity at PT Berlian Jasa Terminal Indonesia Surabaya.  As a vital element in the national supply chain, PT Berlian Jasa Terminal Indonesia Surabaya needs to improve container loading and unloading productivity based on the results of the Box Ship Hours analysis. The analysis includes indicators such as Effective Time, Berthing Working Time, and Box Ship Hours (Gross and Net). Container loading and unloading productivity is also influenced by other factors such as terminal infrastructure, logistics management, labor, and equipment and technology. In this study, data was taken from the Meratus Manado ship at PT Berlian Jasa Terminal Indonesia which was used to analyze these indicators. The results of the analysis show that loading and unloading productivity is still above the specified target standard, Gross Box Ship Hours (BSH) of 18 boxes / hour, while the target provision is 22 boxes / hour, so that loading and unloading productivity has not met the specified standards.
