Sintaks Pembelajaran Pemecahan Masalah pada Materi Aturan Simpson dan Penerapannya dalam Luas Area Bidang Air Kapal
Abstract
This study aims to develop a learning framework in the process of rediscovering the concept of Simpson's rule through presenting problems. Presentation of problems is the main feature in learning that uses a problem-solving approach. A problem is a problem that presents a situation to find hidden patterns/concepts, even though it looks like a procedural task. So the problem is called problematic in the answers of each student and the interaction of educators in exploring their ideas. This type of research is a qualitative research with the respondents being students of the Deck Officer Program at the Akademi Maritim Nusantara Cilacap. The results of the research on pemecahan masalah information began with presenting problems, solving individual problems, solving problems simultaneously, group presentations and discussion, sumarrizing and reflection, individual test. Problem-solving learning syntax encourages students to learn mathematics independently. The results of this study can also be applied to other mathematical materials.
