Saintara: Jurnal Ilmiah Ilmu-Ilmu Maritim provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. As an open-access journal, all content in Saintara Journal is freely available without charge to users or institutions. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full-text articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author(s) as long as the users acknowledge the original author as stated in CC-BY-SA license from the Common Creative License. This is following the Budapest Open Access Initiative definition of Open Access.
